Venice is a prominent city which is the capital of Veneto, which is part of a province located in Italy. It has a great network of canals instead of streets. Next to Rome and Milan, Venice is one of the most well known cities in the country.

As we know, Venice has a great network of canals instead of streets. The Grand Canal serves as its main canal. In fact, this is the capital of the region of Veneto and of the province of Venice.

The best time of the year to visit Venice is in late spring and early summer, and then in September.
